Book Review: Women Who Surf

There’s a lot to like about Women Who Surf, a collection of stories about some of the best surfers on the planet. Each surfer tells the story of her life and what’s influenced her surfing, including all the challenges, accomplishments and her personal philosophy.

Compiled by ex-Surfer Magazine editor Ben Marcus, the book shines a light into what is largely an untold part of the surf industry. I found the way he writes to be somewhat disjointed (my favourite bio was the Easkey Briton one that Easkey wrote herself) but if you’ve read his writing before you’ll be used to it.

All in all, it’s a great book that can be read over and over again when you need that extra little surf stoke and is well worth the $30 price tag. BUY IT HERE
