Do you love to lurk around 2nd Hand stores? Do you recycle and lean toward old school? Are you an ocean lover? If you’ve answered yes to any (or all) of these questions then clear your schedule because we have something for you!
On Saturday 3rd December, Surfrider Foundation are running their annual Eco-challenge at Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club on the Sunshine Coast. The purpose is to raise awareness of the damage that plastic is doing to our environment, especially our oceans.
We tend to be old school, and recycle everything, and lurk about 2nd hand stores!
Featuring local musos and bands the day will also feature early yoga on the beach, eco-markets, kids activities, face painting, an open surf comp (anyone can join in), free plants for kids, demos on how to recycle properly, and much more.
Come and be part of it, and see how you can change your lifestyle to prevent the sea becoming like a plastic soup!
The aim is to challenge yourself, challenge Society and Rise Above Plastic!
