For many of us, the ocean is a place to escape to when life is overwhelming. For Jess Grimwood, a sufferer of post traumatic stress disorder, it is the constant that aids in her recovery process.

This film is a raw, and brave, insight into Jess’s mind as she shares the vital role of the ocean in her life and on her mental health.

With mental illness affecting 1 in 5 Australians, it’s time for the stigma of mental illness to be eradicated.

Because it’s ok to not be ok.
